Would the bots run over all those selling at resistance, trigger buy stops above 1,100 and then reverse to sell? :)

They are done and has been distributing at that top, probably until VWAP is touched.

What's next depends on the incoming order flow.

Thanks again, LC.

What is the current VWAP according to your data?

Who took part in this move from 1081 to 1098 (as a buyer)? I seem to 'watch' big moves like this all time, only once getting a piece of it (a very small piece). Is there an obvious tell that something like this is about to happen? I miss the train everytime and then spend the rest of the day wondering when it will stop and turn back around (often losing $ in the process).

On a side note, I have been doing better using 2 contracts instead of 1 (taking one off the table early to lock in some profit) but I've only been involved in smaller moves.

Big trends tend to change in some kind of very recognizable pattern (doubletop/bottom, H&S,etc.) and V-haped trend changes are rare, so chances are more in favour that something like this happen...

the v shapes usually accompany a neg trend reversal, the pos reversal is often setup by violent zig/zags, i doubt we will see this ,this time, assuming that the big players, banks, are working in harmony and we wont have that tug of war at the top

My indicator gave a buy signal at 8:27, but because of all the 'drop like a stone" talk I did not act on it. Then it said to sell at 1095, which I did not because I am simming today because a lot of the moves yesterday would reverse as soon as they were confirmed and were losers after slippage and transaction costs.
