The thing is that posting here is a thankless job. Most of the guys that look legit get criticized, flamed, etc. I personally think that wave is a great trader but he is vague sometimes about his positions. I think that this is a good place to follow the markets with others. Show someone a perfect trade with your execution reports and they will accuse you of having two accounts or having photoshopped the results. Human nature I guess, but if you are good why waste your time getting criticized for free. The issue of whether someone is a "real" trader will likely never be resolved and buy 1 asking people to post stops is his way of trying to resolve the problem. Where is Romik by the way his board monitoring only lasted 3 days. I wish I could have took a bet on how long that would last.
Anyway, back to the flame wars, this same problem appears on many other threads as well.
My guess is that those who are the most eager to criticize and flame others are persistently unprofitable traders and are therefore jealous of the success of those traders who are consistently profitable.
Here is a trade I failed to capitalize on which pisses me off way more than being wrong. This is a GOOG chart, I have been trying to get short since earnings, got out with a small loss this morning. In hindsight I should have sold the breakdown in the range for a good pop, basically I did not hold the position long enough. I was going to comment that you should get to to the point where you realize emotionally a losing trade is no big deal, the only sin in trading is losing large on a trade.
I stopped because Magna got involved.

Really? According to your logic everybody who posts, no matter what the context, is unprofitable.
Look people, senseless flaming is one thing & should not be allowed, but asking people to stick to the rules is the complete opposite. It's trying to control anarchy type of behavior. Most quality posters actually did post stops here, because they understand the concept of gambling vs trading.
