Do you mean the TL from 10/8 to 10/12 peaks? That lines up with this morning's peak.

These overnight 10pt gaps are purecrap (puretick? ... LOL) to deal with, especially when you know they're just gaming the system.

Check it out - gap up open > previous day high + RTH range.

Not that many instances. And super consistent outcome. =)

As someone who has been holding a short ES position for a month (1040 entry) I feel your pain.

per the discussion the other day we are trading into the gap on spy looking for a touch of 109.68 to fill the gap, may happen when GS reports.

ive covered and reentered several times, staying short with small profits and some large losses, i have merging tl's at 1092-95 on cash , so 88-91 es should be a good pullback, then maybe 1102 sep 08 low or 1117 fib # for top and gap fill, if we pull back to 72 i'will think about scratching and shorting the 1102-1117 cash area ediit GTS, have you been hedged or adjusting ?

was going to scale out at 82.5 but it looks like 79-80 will be here in a minute.
