Its very possible that some larger traders know they have some shorts trapped at much lower prices, and plan to keep moving the market up until either the shorts receive a margin call or their stops get hit.

So we could go to 1100 without meaningful pullbacks to prevent the shorts from getting out.

No pain has been caused to anyone who has gone long stocks, so they will not sell at least right now.
