My only issue is what one of the other posters had concern with and that is you made a call then slinked away for a little bit when the market turned against you and then you came back when the market went in your favor.

All you have to do to resolve the issues is simply make real time calls and when the market turns give us an update. What you did is went quiet for a while and then came back once the market went in your favor. Why did you come back so suddenly? Lemme guess, just came back from vacation. Whatever...

The purpose of this forum is so that we can learn and trade together. Its not so we can see you showboat and have your other aliases reply back at me in anger. This isnt the high-school stock club, we are using real money on real trades and utilize these forums for educational reasons.

Just post real time calls and updates then issues resolved...

I was keeping track of who was long and who was short and where, for at least a few of who was posting. Its kinda of unnecessary to remind us that so so is short and the market is up 50 pts. They posted their position, really what more do you want. I thought if someone was going to post a postion they would post also why they took that position. But for a free web board that might be asking alot! Now that we cleared that up... someone mentioned last week that the dollar was being crushed and that should explain where we were going yet the market was up! any comments, please!

edit: is that becasue the mkt suspects the us will continue to "print money" so long as the dollar goes down and is devalued. :( :(

Yes. Its an easy explanation.

The market suspects nothing and is not transfixed on any one thing. The market has gone up in the past by leaps and bounds when the dollar was much higher...i.e. year 2000 tech bubble.

If you look at the Nasdaq composite from 1997 to 2003 you will notice how the index teases you with its shape. That Eifell Tower like shape seems the same on the left side as it does on the right. The resulting v-shape at the bottom in 2003 looks like the top of 2000 except upside down.

If you just sat down with the chart in 2000 and looked at what was forming, then it would have hit you in the skull. No complex explanation was needed, it was half that of the Eifel.

Nevermind the dollar, nevermind the wave theories, just look at the chart and see what picture the market is painting for us today. BTW, the story of the dollar being "crushed" has been going on for quite some time but I have not seen it flaming in.

So with all that said. The picture I see on the cash index is a high not to exceed 1018-1019 and then down to 875 within days to weeks. If I am wrong, then you better get long because then it will smash up at least another 50 handles. I do believe more of the former then the latter.

Keep your dollar in your pocket and leave it out of the discussion.

Overnight session once again dominated by players who invest a couple ot hundred contracts to relaize a higher open. They must be loaded with thousands of contracts which they want to dump at market open.

With other words : where is the next fool ?
