it would appear that a top is being formed from here. market not really selling off so could be a support for the up move as the market forms a sideways channel that could last well into the second week in September.

I'm still watching the AUD/USD for confirmation. USD/JPY shows that although the dollar has taken a hit this could also create some air underneath thus giving the stocks another boost.

we shall see. time will tell.

I don't get your logic. A weak dollar is good for the stock market. When the dollar starts rallying, then you know the stocks are in trouble (or vice-versa). Flight to safety.
