I use IB with NinjaTrader for charting.
Free version of Ninja btw
With Ninja you must install it, then get the VWAP addon here:
http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/vb/local_links.php?catid=1&sort=N&pp=15&page=13
Works OK for me.

IB does not have it on intraday charts. (

See the daily charts instead.
