The uptrend remains intact and strong after yesterday's profit-taking drop.

The ES has found support nicely off of its PP and is moving up to R1 @ 993.

While profit taking may resume or those who don't want to hold Longs over the weekend, we probably won't have a change in the dominant trend today.

Good trading

ok....long 988 - stop at 888 - will add on weakness :)
This is a great Journal, (i) so I'll only speak positively, to (ii) the guys who identify and trade the domiant trend ... while often choosing to not mention a stoploss level.

I understand why you don't want to mention a stoploss ... becasue we all know the market is most likely going to shake you out of a good trade, and then turn around and head 5 or 10pts in the direction of your original trade if you try to give it a stop loss level.

They way I've dealt with that problem for this Journal is that it forces me to either (i) determine my "uncle" levels where I have to kill a trade (for instance right below 975 (s1) any Longs are toast today, or (ii) only call what I think are the "high prob" trades on the Journal.

Hope it helps,

Good trading

any trade that is posted without a legitimate stop is disregarded for journal integrity purposes. :)
