Back to $13,015 (as of 889.50) from $12,250 yesterday - still holding 2 longs.

Made up 15.25 points using the extra 2 contracts I can trade during RTH. Did not post trades as I really needed to pay extra attention to what I was doing as well as just being a bit leary of what I was doing after yesterday.
BUT it feels good to grind out a profit after the self-inflicted disaster yesterday.

THANKS to all for the encouragement - to some maybe more than others :D
I'm no quitter; I just have to continue to stay alive long enough to get enough experience to know things for myself as theory, other's wisdom, and even your own head knowledge only goes so far.

You're right that the fee structure is a major factor for a scalper. I have been scalping for quite some time but I would rather not do it again. While I still like to scalp for a couple ticks here an then when it's quiet, doing it all day is just too much effort and I prefer to just daytrade for at least a couple handles profit now.

I was more thinking about a 1min range based trading strategy. I dunno, I've got to do some thinking about it and use these tight range days as trial material.

You turned it around, but perhaps this is not the right reinforcement you need.

The world changed when I stopped holding these types of trades overnight. Unless you are swing trading, what's the purpose? After 4:15 p. m. eastern is relaxing time, family time, go do shit time. Not worry about x lot trades.
Of course none of the above may apply to you :) But surely applies to someone out there.

I expect a down move tomorrow to the lower end of the channel 875-870. Markets dont normally reverse out of no where or without tagging the support. Tomorrow could also be a reversal day where news reverses price. The reversal area will be around 905.

I Agree, I think ES 875 gets tagged before any reversal. If it decides to fill the gap first, then all the better for a short :) Not quite sure what to do with the puts when it hits that level? Will we be headed significantly north if that support holds? Thoughts?

I trade one day a week if I'm lucky. I have no right to talk as such a noob. Although tranny talk might be a bit much for some, I for one would greatly miss Saliva's comments mixed with his real time trades from this thread. Vol, Sal, LC, B1S2, Pek, and OTHERS have great insight into trading. Sal's frustration expressed with unique levity is also often welcome (to me anyway) as well. Back to trading... :cool:
