This kind of thing is usually leaked rather than discerned. Yup, the need to scratch each other's back, as well as other places that I won't name, still plays a important role in our society.

No I ain't accusing you of being naive. But did you read what I wrote? That's exactly what I said. Only way you could have gotten these info in advance is from the insiders. And that's friggin' illegal!

Insider trading like moving a particular stock is illegal.

Corner a particular commodity mkt is called mkt manipulation and probably illegal if can be proved.

And, finally, if you are PPT, then it is in the name of stablizing the mkt, that anything you do is legal. Go figure.

Of course, there is no PPT, it is a mirage from my imagination.
