For the NT users who might have missed the "regrettable" letter from the Chairman who informs that the version 7 is behind schedule...yet again. Man, you can never trust these folks, always saying your needs will be met in their next release that never quite appears when you most need it. Gotta find me an alternative.

It does, however, include some cool features as well as the two requests that I made! Check it out:

Try OpenQuant. Also C#-based similar to NT but much more customizable IMO. Much much cleaner coding as well. I used NT for a couple of years then switched to openquant when they announced the first delay of NT7 back in Sep 08. Saw this happening.

Notice the high volume selling into the close Friday. Then "World Bank" comes out with that news over the weekend.

How convenient :]
Oh, so somebody got the tip in advance?

But then again, just a few weeks ago, nobody gave a hoot about what the World Bank might have thought. Has the economic outlook changed that much so fast? It's a joke. That's why you should pay attention to nothing other than prices. Everything is already priced in anyway, no?

I couldn't agree more. The market was done rallying. End of story. The world bank could have said the same thing a month ago, and we'll still hit 950 on the S&P. It's an excuse to sell. Nothing more. I remember the rallying starting when Vikram Pandit said Citi could actually turn a profit in the first quater....look it up. We all knew that was impossible, yet we took off anyway.

Thanks but I've no need for codes. I'm more or less a simple guy who uses only the charts. Moreover, I get NT for free via Dorman. But I'll check out OpenQuant. Thanks for the suggestion.
