How are es june future and es june options settled?

Will es june settlement price be same as SPX?
Serial ES options expire at the close of expiration Friday and turn into the current futures contract. Quarterly ES options expire into cash the same as the futures contract which uses the calculated opening price of the SPX cash index released around noon. The symbol is SET for the settlement value, and it can be rather different from what you think it will be when watching the actual open. If you are not extremely familiar with the games that go on for SET it is always best to get out of your position before expiration.

What's up with 935 that these bulls are bent on protecting at all cost? It ain't even the Friday's low. Do they just randomly pick a number out of thin air and say this is it, we must guard it at all cost?

Silly ass bulls!

Thank you very much. So ES june contracts will be settled as SET.

I am familar with SPX options, and just started to trade ES options recently. I wonder what are the major differences between ES and SPX options.

Serial ES doesn't seem to have pin risk. Am i right? What other risks will ES have?
