heres something for you to think about..

suppose in guise of security you had access to all orderflow of the major US exchanges, you knew exactly which accounts were selling and buying tied into a tax ID. Also you had access to best super computers in the world.

now if you knew a select group of accts were profitable or are profitable for any given trade, you would have a very good picture of the 'market structure'... you could effectively front run or coat tail major orderflow.. which ultimately dictates where the market heads.

archipelago had that and sold it to the major houses,all electronic trades are cleared by a few houses,there should be a law against it or at least have the sec monitor it and post it live just like the spu's ,so we all had that info

How about a supposed break-through for GM. No bankruptcy, out of court (similar to bankruptcy) settlements by June deadline? Could pull us up beyond the difficult 943-950 levels.
