Covered a held over short at 892.25 (from 896.75) at 9:23.
Glad I was flipping back and forth on Bloomberg checking the futures prices. I knew I could come here to find out what happened when I suddenly saw the DOW futures go from about -18 to -93.00!

NQ is good intraday, AH's it's a problem spread/liquidity.

Anyways we should get a lower low. Your short should be fine.

Quote from Decel:

Still a sheep looking for consistency. Usually the NQ is not too shabby (though it's rather dry) in following the ES with some form of multiplier.

some rules of trading..

1) wait for test of key s/r levels, implies price will inflect from this levels.

in this situation a test of 904 during trading will give you a setup.

2) trade with volatility or emotion at the highest.. means prices will consolidate less and trend more. Consolidation means higher chance more stop losses get hit.

news reports, or extreme pessimism or optimism...

3) never add to loosing positions

4) have levels where you will admit you are wrong.. stop loss.

protect your money more then risking it..
