Great call

Thanks, Vol, but I made that call LAST week. ES stalled around 830.50 last week.

I was wrong, but I made money, which is all that counts anyway. :-)

I still say odds are that sometime by July 4, the market will revisit 2008's closing price.

It was a great call. But why do you need 3 extra months to move only 65 points from here? We could get there by next week if these trannies want it badly enough. :)

I guess what I'm asking is where will we be in the interim before we arrive at 900? Will we revisit the devil at 666? As they say, end doesn't always justifies the means.

JSS,

That's the formation I am looking at and your chart illustrated the point exactly -

On a weekly scale, the "pullback" of 10 to 50 pts higher from where we are is not significant at all ...

This goes to the heart of what I was bitching about yesterday. You see, when I draw the same line that you've drawn on NinjaTrader, it doesn't even come close to today's HOD. So how the hell was I supposed to have known? Funny how I extol the virtues of using S/R and trendlines and yet I can't even draw them properly because NinjaTrader is a POS!

Do you have your chart session set up for 24hr's in the chart properities? I think it should read 12:00am to 12:00am duration.

I have zenfire data, it's the real deal.

I noticed the glitch with prophet data early in the morning when I used it with quotetracker, but I don't know about prophet data with ninja, it must scrunch the early hour gap together.

I don't use 24-hour format. But I do use it when I obviously trade AH. AS for the data feed, I too use zenfire. But they're not the problem. The problem lies with the way NT scales the chart, or somethinks.

Anyway, ProphetChart within TOS has a major drawback of its own. It doesn't allow you to filter out the AH data like you can with the TOS charts. So I'm in a real bind at the moment. Ironically, when I was a subscriber to Prophet.net, the AH feed wasn't even available.
