Tales of the Damned:

Sure it was, a perfect, classic dragon formation:

From the 1st bottom to its Height 12 points, pretty much the same as from the Failure to the 3rd bottom, 13 points.

P.S.: For extra credit, there is a smaller dragon in the big dragon, if anyone noticed....

I used to let my system tell me when to enter mechanically like a robot....default entries, stops, exits @ point targets..........nq es.......monkey see monkey do..no thinking allowed..

then i worked for many years and I finally had the ah ha moment....now all i do is let my system tell me when to enter mechanically like a robot......default entries, stops, exits @ point targets...nq es.......monkey see monkey do..no thinking allowed..

when the system is very accurate the risk/ reward and the money management is inherent in the system.....

"Three Drives Pattern: Also, the price legs should possess clear symmetry with each drive forming over equivalent time periods."

This is not necessery for the dragon pattern and also the 3 bottoms don't need to be in a straight line. Actually, they are not... The 2nd bottom can be even higher than the 1st bottom. It is the pricelevel that counts, not the physical distance between the bottoms....

For the lovers of statistics:

In January, out of 20 trading days we had 3 ADUs, 5 SDDs, 2 cup patterns and 1 V reversal....

The rest were borderline, sideways or not recognized (named) patterns.*

Hey, we like to make it interesting! :D

Pekelo, reporting from Sixburgh

Bullish divergence showing up on the medium timeframes indicating upside is due soon. Nice support in the 812-818 area on ES. It all depends on overnight action, but I'd be on the lookout for a quick break of Fridays lows in the first hour of trading followed by a significant move up.

:looks like the bears are giving the zone a run tonight... watching:
