Weeeeeeeeee Eur/jpy!!

Those JPY waves can be a blast to ride!

eur/jpy is only a second derivative of what happens in ES...

a 10 tick move in ES as we saw just now up and down =1.1 pct
translated into eur/jpy is exactly the same move (from 117.75 to 116.45) , but it all starts in ES...

all us FX traders now watch ES

Which his why I posted it in "ES Journal."

You're preaching to the choir. My bread-n-butter is trading yens from SPX chart w/ momo counts.

Sometimes you'll get a 10-figure sum of exotic options expiring (like late last week) concurrent w/ a sell off in equities for an exaggerated move. Actually, this happens quite often.

You'll also get yen drift after the close.

I'd much rather trade FX than ES. There are some great traders in here that if they were to trade FX for a few months they'd never go back to trading futures.

Anyhow... No more dollaryen short vol plays (cause of last 2 blow ups) me.

Quote from Lawrence Chan:

Odd price action.

Opening range break down for sure.

Failed to hold previous week high.

Indeed it is. No trades from 1030-130EST for me and I need to take advantage of this 71 degree FL weather before I move up to Chi-town and freeze my butt off.

Be careful in this chop n slop.

Pek should kill this. (He has nothing on Puresh*t though, with 17x daily range). :D
