This happens every time we have one of these holidays. The ES stops at 10:30 Chicago time and yet many people don’t know it, you just have to watch the bid/ask go crazy after the close with people trying to get flat because they didn’t bother to look up the close time.

I missed all the action. I thought it would have been a dull abbreviated Session but NO - good range, over 30 points, and good volatilty for day trades.

NO OBAMA rally, at least not today.

I hate holidays I think 2 contracts have traded in the last 15 mins and now it's snowing so I can't play golf. How can I convince my wife to move?

Does today's action count or does that up trend on the horuly mean nothing?

Just because I can walk/run a mile under 8 minutes, (most people can't) that doesn't make me an elite runner. Just because you can play 10 songs on the guitar (most people can't) doesn't make you an elite guitar player either.

Apples and Oranges. More than 5 percent of the populace can do both of those things. Less than 5 percent of the populace can make even 1 dollar trading futures.
