Just saw bguards target (same as mine) and wanted to assert that I am not, nor have no affiliation with that poster. However bad my reputation is, I do not want it sullied any further. Thank you.
Haha, I had the same mindset: "I am short this damn market! What? Blackguard is short? Damn, what have I done!"
So true, but what I really like to know is why some of you changed your name. What have you got to hide? Be yourself...like Regal...damnit! :)

The IHS on the 5 min.
Ironically, that IHS turned out to be just another boring flaky itch by the end of the day (I mean into a full-fledged upright head-and-shoulders). Frankly, though, I don't believe H&S works on the 5-min.

Yes but it did come back to test the first reaction low of rth before a 12 point rip.

What min time frame do you use for patterns ?

Other than the double-hump formation, I'm not a big fan of patterns. The reason is that all those patterns can be stripped down to 2 or more trendlines, which means they will eventually register on my radar since I closely monitor trendlines across the spectrum. At any rate, I tend to stick with the daily for any major reversal patterns.

I still think we're going lower in the near term, but these 2 last days sure worked with my nerves...

No need to feel bad because of that.

His "posted calls" are not 100% wrong ... more like 50/50.

I guess if you know who he is, you probably understand that he is there to confuse you all only :)

Why not consider what I am doing?

Almost going short every day, as long as you have a short bias on multiple days swing level. You may miss the overnight move, but with proper adjustment on money management and entry price, it can do magic.

Pek,

Your 5-min comparison implies we are within a day or 2 to a better turning point.

The hard part is, do we get a blow off top 1st (damn) before going lower.

What's your take?

p.s. I am not a hero in terms of trading thus I will only sell much higher above 20 (like today's opening range top at 40) or a clean break below 20 with a failed test.

Edit: definitely heart broken when I saw 27 holding for the 6th time today, completely speechless :D

LC,

Are you cryptically telling us your are BG? This is turning into Resevoir Dogs. We all know how that ended. If you don't, please watch! Good flick!

LC could be Mr. Brown, fwiw.

Or he could be..

Lawrence Tierney as Joe Cabot: The mastermind of the heist and father of "Nice Guy" Eddie Cabot, Joe is killed by Mr. White during the final standoff. Mr. Orange, in his flashback, compares Joe to The Thing from the Fantastic Four.

I learned to ignore his post long time ago ... :)

Thats why.

Just having some fun LC, btw its 926.50 now!

NQ is setting the range and s/r now. Giving up till the break occurs. 27 and 20! The new context throws water on the fire till then.
