Tomorrow the open will "tell the tale" where the option dudes want the price to land.

My guess is either 850 or 825.

For a landing on 850 by Friday open, a push above 870 is needed.

Edit: There is a HUGE wild card in play here - GOOG earning after tomorrow's close. That can change everything.
 
I think we see 825 and lower before 870 based on this weeks action, but goog is the gum in the gears like lc said.

Next time you are standing over a urinal look at the valve, stamped lc, makes me think of him every time, lavatory control.

Can you elaborate on what makes you think in this week's action that we'll see 25 before 70?

To me it's quite bullish. Successful gap test, IHS with further upmove fuel, market currently above the weekly open, still in the uptrend channel...

As long as it stays above 40, it says new highs me think.

855 is the line in the sand. If that breaks, we test 870. I'll keep trading from the short side til that breaks because thats where the R/R is in this zone, but I think spooz might be right and this market charges higher before rolling over again. A 38.2% retrace of the whole swing bringing us to to S&P 1000 seems possible.

When I first heard GOOG announced their earning announcement date is tomorrow - I learned one thing, their CEO knows about stock price. :cool:
