From yesterday afternoon till this morning, very wild price action. Pattern doesn't work well. The failure of pattern also doesn't work well. Only one thing seems to be true:

775-778 is a price magnet. The market just wants to sit there and go nowhere. This is probably the area where the big players want the market to settle for option expiration. Technically it is also interesting.

Correction: Weird, not wild

Some firms need 775. Some need 800.

One of them says, "Damn, let me print 775 by tomorrow open and I will buy you lunch!" :)

Printed before lunch. Jobs done. =)

Edit: Notice how each RTH swing lows are printed. 1 pt lower each time with volume for 4 times. Each level represents some hedges done for the op ex today by close.

That depends on which instrument you are talking about.

After 775, it is either lock it at day open, or WAY lower.

S1 was hit, and then failed.

There was a Fib extension target off the opening range of the 767 area that also seems to have failed.

S2 is 762.25.

Every hour today has had lower highs and lower lows. Definition of trend day.

VWAP is way up there, around 777.50. If there is a late Friday rush north, that might well be the target. Right, Lawrence? :)
