This is a little off topic, but there's some savvy people on this thread so here's an anomaly I've noticed and wondering about the significance or mechanism that caused it.

The ETF for the Russell Mid-caps had a massive dislocation - meaning huge daily range - in 9/08 before the crash and now it had a similar one during the "flash crash" at the same price level. IWM was similar, but not as pronounced.

Any ideas what's going on besides fat fingers or a S/R level? Just randomness?

It's only a 5-lot trade so I ain't too concerned. But I'm little annoyed that I got tricked by your galz again. Plus this crappy summer PA is too much for me to stomach.

Anyway, stop is placed above 56. I won't divulge my exact stop since it's so damn easy to move prices in AH.

I'm trading 1 lot and you're trading 5; damn, it really is summer!

What happened to that "flash crash" volatility? I'll never forget May 7 when I was looking to "scalp" 5 pts, took profits at 15 pts, and left 10 more on the table!
