It is important to know key support/resistance levels and the overall structure even if you daytrade only.

1. Some daytrade for small swings.

2. Some daytrade to pocket large moves.

Knowing higher timeframe support/resistance levels are useful for both, and more so for #2.

It works for me. However I have had many conversations with local traders who think I'm complicating things but to each his own. It definitely has its merits, specifically for my business plan.
 
Sorry to interrupt this thread, but is anyone experiencing painfully slow loading times for the pages on ET? I need to know if it is just me.
