Anyone knows the time (and date) of which the stimulus bill will be voted?

I suppose today senate has one.

What about congress?

I am trying to avoid trading until after they finish their m**key business ... :)

p.s. I still remember last time they rejected the 1st stimulus bill in the afternoon.

L.C.
it is not clear.
Today I saw some comment that this afternoon they would have to vote on some sort of procedural thing to limit debate.

fluid situation,

I saw some speculation that it could be Tuesday (and maybe Tuesday evening after RTH close).

Truthfully, I don't know. checkout CNN or FOX news.

in a different world, from a different time:
remember what apex82 used to say about price movement into the employment report, up into employment report often means some opposite movement in the following week. This is the following week.

Won't Px, (at a minimum?) have to retest breakout of 49.50?

Last week, unlike a normal steady rising week into NFP, we are effectively selling into Thurday AND Friday, but the mkt refused to drop.

So I am not sure if apex's observation is applicable this time.

When government is going to do something affecting the mkt big time, many participants (including me) will choose to stay on sideline.

Unluckily, their actions can affect oil, gold, forex, etc. all at the same time, making it hard to even trading those :(

in october they argued for a week or two about the bill being passed/not being passed had this mrkt bouncing all over,on a layover MP chart there is cleavage at 850-3 and 880-3 so those may be res /supp areas,
