Quote from MandelbrotSet:

L @ 1081
S @ 1077

Looking for it to break to the upside.

Good trading
As anticipated the market has broken out to new highs and delivered a profitable trade.

Taking trade off @ 1084.00, may look to re-enter later in the afternoon session (or maybe not). :D

What's the moral of the story <strike>boys and girls</strike> Nexen?

That a poor entry in the direction of the trend beats a good entry against the direction of the trend any day of the week.

See ya!

well done. the fact that today is a trend upday makes it easier to buy around HOD doesn't it?

While admittedly I have to refine my entry, I have found that taking intra-day breakout trades in the directon of the trend to be overwhelmingly profitable, through both backtesting and through the testing process I'm doing on this Journal with the live calls.

Maybe someone will be able to profit from this information or not, but it is there for the taking.

Good trading

On 2nd gaps:

The more days are between the gaps the less the probability of the same day gapclose. We now have 3 days, I would say it is only a 50-50%...

On reversal or not:

Too early to tell. We did say we would go up to 1070-80 cash (and we made it) and we are only 6 pts higher. Also huge RSI divergences...NDX and SPX are still far from new highs. Unless SPX go above 1090-95 I still go with my H&S...

On Metastock:

Just gave a longer term buy 2 days ago. I don't check it everyday, so I missed it.

On Dow:

Could make a doubletop here, again there is an RSI divergence, not good for breakout.
