It is my understanding that we confirmed a Dow Theory buy signal after trading above the June high.

Well, it did, according to the rule. The rule for FOMC days is : If there is a trend before the announcement, after the initial up and downs the trend would continue.

June 24th didn't follow this rule (exception), by the way...
