Quote from Pekelo:

After 4 months of signallessness* (that is a word, gentlemen), Metastocktools has rapid fired a long and a short signals.

So right now we are on a longer term SHORT signal, B1S2, you can go short now.

*It still gave a buy signal for oil at $40 in February (now at 70) and another buy for gold at 880 (now pulling back from 1000)

Interesting. What is the stop on that short signal if you don't mind sharing? Thanks

OMG! It's practically trading at the breakeven level. Should I take the bait or not??

An idiot inside me is telling me to hold on. Mind you I have a high respect for this idiot of mine. :D

Quote from Roman Candle:

To keep from having to deal with the consequences of bad trading decisions (or indecision), some traders will put off placing the trade all together. Others will go as far as holding a losing position, hoping the market will turn in their favor to prove their judgments right.

Why do we have such a hard time accepting criticism? For one, criticism has negative connotations, usually associated with poor performance, doing something wrong, or not being sufficient enough in the task at hand. Most people, traders included, don't take well with negative feedback or comments. Some of the psychological aspects of the way we now deal with criticism are deeply rooted in our past, from experiences with our parents and school teachers. They were in the position to correct us and tell us when we were wrong, and some were more extreme than we liked with their criticism. They definitely had a psychological impact on us was there, with many of us now transferring those experiences to our trading.
[/QUOTsal is on a bad streak as of the last 3 weeks or more, (pardon me sal 4 using u as an exam;le) ,he is having a sike break down which eventually turns to a breakthru, have to crash before you meta morph into a butterfly. Now that's the kind of direct criticism I can live with. What I can't stand are the rosy "if-then" hindsight scenarios, as if he or she knew it all along. If so, why the hell didn't ya bring it to my attention before it all happened?!

Needless to say, as ammo already eloquently stated, only thing that truly matters is my P/L.

Saliva how you make money averaging in all the time on losing positions is beyond me. Man when you're wrong it must hurt bad
All the time? Obviously, you haven't been around very long. Had you been, you would know that I rarely ever double down. Only time I do so is when I feel there's a MAJOR reversal just around the corner.

I appreciate your encouragement bro, but I'm going to stick this one out. We'll see who will get the short end of the stick.

BTW I've grown quite fond of those trannies. Sadly, we must go our separate ways.:)

Way to trade your sitting at break even. It’s clear you had no real plan. Do you even have a strategy? It’s also clear you have your support from those who don’t care that your trading recklessly. I'm sure your broker loves you!

Are you on the windup, RC?!lol
Saliva is one of the best consistent traders ive come across on most trading forums. If you are just trying to get at him, i think you'll be dissapointed. Ive seen a few people over the months come in here and pick at some of the traders, but each time they've been pretty much ignored and people like saliva just carry on posting their trades in ernest. Good for them.

If you want anyone to take notice of what you are saying you'll have to actually post lots of realtime trades with stops and gain some creditbiliy, othewise just let us get on with it....
