The uptrend has been present all morning, so yes, this way it is a continuation pattern. What I meant was that it can form both at the top or bottom of a bigger trend...

I'm still holding 100 SPY long 88.45 from last week, stop remains at 82.9, was not hit since we rallied into the 850s before market open.

If we get no follow-through on this latest strength I might kill the trade, otherwise still holding for 103.
