The price movement this morning is exactly what I mean by "picking each other's pocket".
The remaining smarter small traders and funds ... all do the same thing, so the waves of price movement get very directional and extremely fast.
Wow. Just got 1.25 points slippage on a stop order. That's five times worse than I have ever gotten.

There are some unprescedented foreces in play right now. I would not be surprised if PPT was operating today. I've made good profit on the short side today but the volatility is over the top. 20 pt price swings in NQ. market wants to head lower but is being propped up with news, rate cuts and who knows what else?
