2. depends. it stays at the limit price and can bounce off that if bids come in at that price. otherwise a break of 5 min to start.

3. depends. if uncertainty stays, major gap down can happen as in 2000. many times, however, you see a major bounce.

I remember "rogue" limit down on ES but this is just 5% not 10 like now.

Btw, I like bottom fishing but today it looks not the best season for it right now.

The outcome is very hard to predict, either finish an up day or we go to 1080 as I said before in this thread.
