Quote from Anekdoten:

Dear ETers,

Unfortunately, my time has come.

First of all I have chosen to make my last post on this journal because in this jungle we call ET, this thread is one of the most valuable and respected in the forums, major kudos to the OP for his time and professionalism throughout the journey so I could not think of a better place to post my last ES chart and farewell.

Unfortunately my time has come to cease posting in ET, I love to help but I no longer got the energy or time left to do what I did in the past. Everyday I get questions and more questions and I just can't, it just never ends, would love to help, but not at the expense of losing quality time with my family, so I have decided to just post a farewell and attend what matters the most to me.

To anyone I ever offended in the forums, I sincerely apologize, my heart has no room for hate and wanted to make that clear in my last post. I like to think I leave no enemies out there, none, zero, nada.

Today was an extraordinary day, felt very much in synch with the market so I will post the trades and analysis as a last cookie for the boards, in hopes that serves at least one trader well.

To everyone else, believe in yourself, this is all very possible, don't let anyone tell you any different.

Farewell my friends,
Anek

Disregarded. :)

If 1180 is not hit, then 1201 would need to be hit before I will start looking long. If 1180 is hit, then I will watch carefully but be bearish initially.

What if both hit?
Edit: In a way like the other day where we moved 20 pts up and down.

News shock again ... when are they going to give us some peaceful time to trade?

Both are signs to begin looking long. In the case of 1180, I would need to see strength there, while 1201 would already show strength. Mind you, I am not saying that I will get long there, just that I will begin cautiously looking long at those points.

I would be a strong buyer here of SP futures.

the Bailout failure is a big, big positive.

look for a rally of about 1000 Dow points, maybe 150-200 ES points from here.It will take about 6 months.

"Would be" or "am"?

1000 Dow points in 6 months is NOT a rally... :) It is a slow climb.

We had such a movement last week in 24 hours. Now that is a rally...

that's a given, but how do you know the deal will get signed soon? it looks very unlikely before market close today, and even during the weekend is in doubt.

Market is just hanging on still with the hope of a deal by market open next week, when reality comes home and the hope is gone it will nosedive.
