I indicated that it's just semantics and we should move on. Everyone is free to call different styles of trading by whatever name they wish to. :)

no problem, I would agree with smilingsynic that scalpers go for multiple tics. Personally I am trying to hook onto a trend and ride it forever. I remember talking to a scalper years ago who was ashamed to admit he only made $1,500 per week scalping. I think my take home was like $450 every two weeks at the time. He was treated as a second class citizen in the pits. Kinda like if you tell someone you are a teacher vs a garbage man. People are funny!:)
