Anek may have a poor attitude and a big ego but I 100% agree with his view on indicators. In the end, EVERY INDICATOR IS A DERIVATIVE OF PRICE. Why do you want to use the derivative when you can use the real thing?
LOL, price is a derivative also, what I was showing in my post is that it can be highly manipulated and as such functions as an indicator as well.

Like it or not, everyone's going to be looking for a T Day, today. :)

Limitations of the human brain in processing data.

In the same vein, why does anyone need a chart? Why not just stream raw T&S data to your screen? Displaying one minute (or any time frame) bars in a chart is just a visual construct that imposes arbitrary structure on the real (tick) data.

Exactly.

I realized this when I pulled up:

a) a one hour candlestick chart
b) a T&S streaming data grid
c) a 15 minute candlestick with a sma on it to determine trend
d) all the above while keeping an eye on the daily candlestick that was forming

These are all ways of manipulating and interpreting data. What is important is not so much what you do, but that you do it consistently and manage your "bank" conservatively so that you can continue to do it.

Good trading.

I don't view this as bullish, maybe I am not seeing something, apart from that support I don't understand why so many bullish sentiments.
