Ammo,

Oh I respect the market, you have to, how can you not but what do indicators offer, useless divergence? lagged data ?

I meant blindness by referring to the handicapped not incompetence.

Some traders take months to notice, some years, some decades, just delete every single piece of crap indicator off the charts and you will instantly become a better trader, I mean this 200%. Even intraday open and close, get rid of it too, worthless actually worse than worthless, a distraction.

They serve one purpose and one purpose only to feed the pocket of the developers and the snake oil distributors that sell them while making the user an inferior trader.

Anek

Hey Anek, many of us understand what you are saying. I think newer traders will have no idea what you are talking about. I would say most if not all indicators lack predictive power, so that cci, macd, etc. are not the holy grail. ie where will the dow close today, tomorrow etc. Perhaps you can throw up a chart outlining higher highs higher lows, etc. The information he has is very valuable, suffice to say the market will do what it wants with or without indicators.

lets cut right to the chase

entries and exits only.then summarize your results after 12 trades.like I did before, like b1s2 does now and ammo to an extent.do a search under blackguard.

then we'll know whos who and who knows what.

any takers?and if not why not?

we are all in a card game against the house,i show you mine ,you show me yours, its not about halving the best call, its about beating the house, the house is always right

Be that as it may, I can think of at least two S&P 500 traders who use oscillator divergence for part of their approach that each trade >100x the size of your account today.

The AHG journal was a 1,000s page long journey of indicator exploration = evolution. Even now, the charts you posted in PriceAction threads have indicator studies clearly visible at the top of each window. If you so strongly eschew any indicator without exception, why are any at all existing in your charts?

fwiw, I have zero indicators on my chart, turned on or off respectively. I myself only use tools that measure price structure itself, not the movement of (aka oscillation). But that's merely by personal choice. Those who opt to use indicators may find their niche in "seeing" price action thru that window. To each their own.

By your own admission, you've only been in the index futures world for about two years. Still a relative youngster to this game. The longer you stick around, the more open-minded you will become.

There are old index traders and there are closed-minded index traders... but there ain't no old, closed-minded traders that survive over time :)

I bet no one will take up my offer.

none of you.thats my call for today.well, volente might but he probably doesnt want to show his strategy.b1s2 has already revealed his strategy.

the rest of you?prove to us you are traders.cmon....

take 12 trades and then summarize your results.and no scalps allowed, im talking multi hour, multi day trades.LIVE calls.

cmon guys.lets go......

Any information is useless unless interpreted properly.
ONe person is good in interpreting one and thinks the others are bad as the other person thinks viceversa.

It all come down to your skills in one.

:)

Obviously you need to use hard stops. I might play if that's part of it. And the entries and exits, other than stops (which are already hard stops), need to be posted real time, not from 10 minutes ago, etc etc.

By the way, what's your trade? You haven't posted one yet.
