Thank you although this trade is not over yet and I could give it all back. There was one mistake in this sequence and that was that I did not raise my stop from 1262.5 to 1265.00 the other day when I was long from 1268.00. I knew it should have been moved, but left it alone. That cost me 2.5 points and the loss would have only been 3 points per. Seems like a small difference, but just like commissions, those will add up. Anyway, I am holding long here and will continue to move my stop in the direction of the trade/trend. Thanks again!

I will enter long @ 1272.00 20 contracts
Stopped in ---Initial sell stop 1251.25
Sell stop raised to 1270.25
Sell stop raised to 1272.50
 
shorts are really getting hit hard 2day.

as they deserve.stock indices were meant for investing (buying) not shorting

I went short the other day for something like 30+ points.It was a good trade.

noticed how i covered it at the bottom almost to the exact minute?

this after being on hiatus for a few months.
