btw,(and this is my last post for the time being)didnt I mention about 5 months ago commodities were going to pop?In fact I mentioned it several times.

I said something similar to 'commodities now are where real estate was 2 years ago and where tech stocks were in late 1999'.

dig up the post if you dont believe me.

commodities are done, but here is the catch and this is what had me fooled at first.

stocks are not going to rise.some will, as always but the general market will suffer.dont ask me why but thats the way its going to be.and you know what?its going to be that way for a while.

edit:the post Im talking about was made on the 4th of march.dig it out if you dont believe me.

sure gold is down but not oil. i did check uso chart and on 4th of march uso was trading 78 - 79 area. now its trading around 90 area...dont know abt rest of the commodities...

Do NOT respond to blackguard/regal we have been through his idiocy before.

As far as track records go, right now you have to go with Oldtrader for very infrequent trading, and while he was here Apex82 was the best. B1S2 is very good with his position trades. Off the top of my head a few who have proven they know what they are doing: Mins, Mbusch, Smilingsynic, Spooztop, L.Chan, Anekdoten, Wave, Jsspmk. Too bad not all of them still post.

Like I said before, 10 point moves all over the chart...just a question of where they start. LOL.

and your excuse for today ?

48 points in 6 trading days for a r10 rookie trading his own modified version ?

Beginners luck I guess.

Last I saw, jagmot was +27 points using his version. A good result I think. Mainly a tribute to how he's managing his money I think rather than the "rule" itself. 5 right out of 12 if I recall.

As I read through the journal today, what struck me is that everyone understands the "rule" differently, which kinda verifies what I was saying....it's discretionary.

That said, let's see how jagmot's version does over a period of time. He's off to a good start.

Thanks. Still here, but not as active posting as I used to. :)
