I have more time to daytrade now as my seasonal business is winding down.

Still trading longer term on higher level charts but am just going to be posting on smaller time charts (30 or less) with smaller stops for the journal.

Short 1263
Stop 1265
Target 1253
R:R 5:1

All in all out, no scaling out strategy. Exit by end of day or stop or target hit, with smaller stops then I'm used to. It will be a nice experiment.

Edit: well I missed, didn't get filled. cancel out order

not likey because the winning trade would have to produce more than 19times than the average of the losing trades.

Capital management IS the system. A system with a 5 percent win ratio will be profitable with the proper capital management.:)

A system with a 5% win ratio will be profitable only in the long haul if the average wins are more than 20X times the size of the average losses.

It is a mathematical certainty that a system with a negative expectancy is in the long term a loser. It cannot be made profitable just by tinkering with the system of money management. You are welcome to believe in anything you want, but your beliefs do not change that fact.

The lower the win percentage, the closer the stop must be. This is why any methodology with a win percentage above zero can be turned into a winning system utilizing proper capital management. :)

oil losing ground with 10 minutes to go....before the pits close.

if oil can close down 4 or more that should give us what we need to get into the mid 60`s before es closes.

Winning percentage is irrelevant.

If a system LONG TERM is based on invalid assumptions and has a negative expectancy, no system of money management can overcome that.
