Smilingsynic,
You may have mentioned this before, but I don't remember.
Do you just use standard pivot points using 24 hour data and the 4:15 close, or do you do something else?

9:30-4:15.

Thanks.
So while standard users would have been waiting for a bounce at the 1262 pivot, you were looking for one at 1264.5 or so?

7/2 and 7/7 on 30 min his brings in tl at 62 ,little volume spike there ,1- 1;30 time bar,see if they hold it here,usd/jpy broke support 40 mnutes ago

Morning short play over, pulling up me shorties again. Bulls are feeding again.

What do you use to determine that view point, Price action, volume, probable resistance points, order flow.... ?

smilingsynic,
you can't even get a calculated pivot series for the RTH on mypivots.com, so standard user might be someone who uses 24hr globex.

Yes.

What's a "standard user"?

Joe Blow traders just using software that uses 24 hour data, and those looking at things like mypivots.com. I was thinking in terms that the "average" user is probably using 24 hour data. I was just looking at it today and the numbers are quite different depending on which you use. What is your opinion on it?
