Quote from smilingsynic:

This morning represents a successful test of yesterday's low via Wyckoff spring.

The principle that if the test of the previous day's low/high fails, the previous day's high/low is in play, was indeed in play today, as the ES hit 1275 right near the close.

Often it pays to stick to one's principles.

amen.

I'm always looking, but haven't found much to get excited about so far. I'm taking an early lunch and a few hours away from the screens.

So far, the morning has pretty much been a rotation around the RTH open/yesterday's high (75.75-76.25). There has been no strong move either way off of this zone as of yet.

Someone willingly stopped ES at 78.

Is that unloading of a huge long position or building a huge short position? That I don't know. :)

Edit: the volume at the top 2 pts today is unusually high

Smilingsynic,
You may have mentioned this before, but I don't remember.
Do you just use standard pivot points using 24 hour data and the 4:15 close, or do you do something else?
