Though I do not believe that a plant will spring up where no seed has been, I have great faith in a seed. Convince me that you have a seed there, and I am prepared to expect wonders.

Longs appear to have a more likely chance of success today at least for the early going. I am not necessarily to get long willy nilly but perhaps on the next good signal--

Shorts still rule the longer chart of daily--so waiting for the next good short signal on the appropriate time frame would be acceptable as well. Most day traders will not have the patience to do that, so at this point I still say longs are more likely to be successful right now.

So do we assume you are both short and long right now at the same time from your vague post ?

Actually the correct answer is posting any trade on this board has zero benefit to others when it come to teaching others your methodology. What good are number posted if you don't reveal how or why on the trade ?

Actually there appears to be considerable latitude in how the rule of 10 is applied. In fact, I think the data is cherry picked through hindsight. That applies not only to entry, but how you are exit as well. That said, it's only an opinion, and certainly would change to some degree if I had the benefit of seeing you, or anyone else, actually apply this technique with a few trades.

I don't have any trade on at all. When I have a trade on, I post numbers. This is an analysis of two different timeframes! The discussion of posting realtime trades is now closed as it is taking up too much space in the journal. All further discussion of the realtime trade posting guidelines will be disregarded. ie don't expect kudos for vague and after the fact stuff. Thanks in advance for your consideration. :)

I'm thinking it was based on T day theory, that I first posted about on ET in 2002 before the fact.

:)

I don't pay attention to any theories or news other than my analyses of the charts as I have laid out many times here. T day and rule of 10 are not inluded in my analyses. Sorry Vol.

that's the 3rd time that i got stopped out
calling it a day
have a good weekend all

I think you probably just bought without a pullback etc. Both ES and TY/ZB have upside potential right now.
