Volente is now short at 1367.00 with a stop at 1370.00. Target is 1347.00 Good fortune to you!:)

While you are making ASSumptions, and for purpose of journal integrity ASSume that I scaled out of the 1367 short at 1361, before it ran to 71 as not everyone is foolish enough to let a 6 point profit turn into a loss just becasue you do. ASSume I followed every rule of 10 entry signal including the 1367.50 short from the 1357.50 , and the ASSume I shorted the signal at 70.5 from 60.5 and ASSume I took the signal at 50.5 which was also 10 points under the previous reaction low of 60.5. Then ASSume I took the 10 point exit signals and reversed at 60.25, then ASSume I took the short signal at 62 from 52. For the purpose of journal integrity, ASSume that one actually trades the very methods they have taught instead of just posting paper trades on a message board. Thanks for your ASSumptions and good fortune to you on the 1387 longs from last week.

my first day of trading was a success because i didn't lose anything, lol. i tried to put in a trade but it moved so fast! i refrained myself from chasin it (even tho if i did i would have still made money) oh well. i'll just wait to the opps to roll in.

hope everybody had a good trading day.

You have traders block, ie lead paws, right porgie ? :), I suggest you do not take anymore trades until you read this book and know it like the back of your hand.

Fomc CM just came out and said inflation is the focus of all central
banks right now. Dollar got a pop and stock fell a tad.

While you are making ASSumptions...ASSume ...ASSume...ASSume

That's a lot of asses. Normally when I see this many asses, I get as horny as a three peckered billygoat in a forest fire.

Kamek: Did you really blow 10% of your equity in a day, or are these guys just messing around?

The Disciplined Trader is a great book, and I also recommend you look into Enhancing Trader Performance by Steenbarger.

Volente

Excellent book to reccommend to the guy. Here is another beauty. Also the good idea to tell someone as you did to not just reread a book but also to reread it over and over and when combined with trading with live ammo (real trades, not papertrading). Then and only then will a trader begin to recognize the mistakes being made and how to correct the mistakes. Many EXCELLENT trading books out there. The value in the books will only work for the trader when combined with a review of ones trading with mistakes. Trading is probably the most difficult profession there is because there is no secretary, partner, etc to blame mistakes on. OH, YES, lets not forget mistakes also are caused by the exchange, the platform, the internet connection, broker etc etc, on and on. .. big joke that is that the individual self plays on him/her self.

That book is out of print but it is out there. Good trading to all, the ES was been great following the technicals lately. .. There is enough for everyone.

PS, concerning crude oil lately............there is a huge difference between speculators in the mkts and manipulators. The "ENRON LOOPHOLE" is still out there, enron blowing up was not enough to change it. Maybe we will go back to regular, real exchanges with position limits and end of day mark to mkt, not mark to myth. the exchanges worked for a long time before electronic bullshit crap UNREGULATED palaces set up by goldman, and the other i-banks. This LEGAL cornering of mkts is a sick joke on all of us that make our living by taking the risk from the commercial side of the hedgers in the mkts.

TIME to wise up and retake back OUR MKTS.

The republicans say unless we deregulate the mkts they will go overseas. Well some have and guess wehat we get in return. Phil Gramm caused all this crap.

Hey now, don't blame the Texas politicians for the problems of the United States.

Thanks for the link. Put it on the list to buy.

long 1355.25

100 point stop

target 1468

Long here as well, 1356.25, 3 contracts. Just got back in front of the computer and see a nice RSI setup on the 15 and forming on the 30 and 60.

Stop at 1339 (catastrophic). Once market opens, I will be moving it to 1347. I'm due for a stopout and I'm sensing it might be here. My gut is telling me this for some reason, but that's what we have discipline for and take the setups we see.

Targets same as previously, 1366, 1370, and 1375.
