Smiling,
thanks for the explanations.

I personally look at performance of NDX (sometimes ER2) relative to the ES as a mental filter as to whether I should have more confidence in shorts or longs (NDX outperforming on upside, focus on long trades and vice versa).

NDX vs ES & ES opening price reactions. Today, NDX was outpeforming on the downside, open for ES finally broke down. Something I'll watch for the future (to see if NDX performance in anyway predictive of ES break.

A few minutes ago, the NQ was bouncing off S2 whereas ES was plunging down to 20 points (rule of 10 times 2?) off the day's high, the first time NQ was outperforming the ES today.

I am,and have always been, acutely aware that many of the trades posted here are paper trades. What I am looking for are real time trades with real time stops and exits. This is how you improve and give the journal honesty and strength.

That's one way B1S2.

Another way is to provide the readers with actionable information that they can use to improve their trading ... plenty of which gets thrown out here (some real gems), but I seriously doubt people have the where-with-all or are going to put in the time to actually use the info, they're too busy making their real-time trades and commenting on the postings of other traders ... LOLOL some more. :D :p

A trader posting stops is like a poker player showing his hand. No thanks!! :)

Ah, back to the trading! :)

Remember SS, the NQ dropped hard right off the Open, whereas the ES found support and had a couple of good rallies.

If you look at your analysis, you will see that the ES is far stronger than the NQ today ... however, NQ most definitely is bouncing off of its support.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the NQ and ES correlation. I've studied it in-depth and even purchased "The Trading Edge" by Rickey Cheung where he talks about it exclusively, but there are better ES correlations out there.

... and you missed mine and JSSPMK's. :)

For now I've got you down as a trader who needs help with his trades, let me know when you graduate to the level where you can take responsibility for your own, LOL. :D

I've got you down as a shit talking douchebag. Let me know when you've realized the level of your douchebaggery.

Buy1Sell2: I'm a scalper and I have no time to post real time stuff. If I ever post something here I'll back it up to you with records in private. Is this ok, or should I not bother posting if it can't be realtime?
