I like position trading the ES. Actually, what I do is more like swing trading than position trading. I also trade gold, oil, and T-Notes periodically. Some stocks now and then.

Most of the time the ES is a mean-reverter. I think that lends itself to a swing trade type of style.

Had a H&S earlier. But traded out of that right now. Tape and PA point higher. Could reverse, that's why my stop is tight on this one.

I can see attempts to move price higher, yet histogram keeps heading lower & that's my shit

I will be exiting my long position MOC 20 contracts today unless stopped earlier.
All trades posted without exact hard stops will be disregarded for purposes of journal integrity. --or if a soft stop is posted , it will be considered as a hard stop.

Vertigo suggested posting 500 point hard stops as requested, would you be OK with that?

That would be actually OK, as long as the real exit is posted close to real time. Basicly that is the point of his request....

to each his own,any trade posted on here other than my own doesn't affect my p/l, which is the big picture,this is just a blog site and should be left democratic

That's fine, but more realistically .5 X ATR would most likely more tha cover an intraday trader.
