If it hit your stop then the 6 points must be imaginary lol.

What purpose is your stop if nothing happens when it is hit :D
You guys are a major nuisance. That's why this journal is turning into crap. I'm done posting.

If requiring accuracy is a nuisance then I can see why posting bothers you. All I did was ask how your stop was hit yet you still made 6 points. I did not harass you or bombard you, just an honest question.

Is that enough to make you quit posting?

Perhaps he forgot to tell us that the moment his stop was hit, the moment he re-entered a short at the same stop price. You just forgot to ask. :D

Optioncoach, it's the way you asked the question. Anyway, this is not the first time I'm being questioned regarding validity of my entries/exits... Btw, most of the time I don't use hard stops and the price never traded higher than 1432.

Coach and others, here is the translation. You called him out as well someone else here for a printed... lets call it a fudging to look good in front of his buds. Instead of answering the question, he gets all wet in the panties and say he objected to the way you asked the question. If this is not the first time he is being questioned it is because people smell something fishy (I refer you back to the wet panties above).

Hard stops/soft stops are different types of tampons. I think a stop is a soft stop when it hits it and then moves your way and a hard stop is when it hits it and then moves against you. Allows for post anus delecto.

Do not ask him again or he will get a visit from Fluffy McSniffles and take his toys and go home and not post anymore.

i don't like the nature of questioning someone's P&L and other stuff you see on et. that said, you position isn't very defensible in this case.

you posted an entry and a stop. the stop got taken out and then you claimed a 6 point profit. the bane of my trading is getting my stop taken out and then reversing- we can all relate. i'm not a frequent reader of this thread, but from what i saw today, you trade with tight stops. if they're mental stops, they're not really stops and not worth noting. if they're really stops, well.... then you got stopped out. seems like you got stopped out at your stop on the other trades. my mental stops don't do as well as yours, that's why my stops are hard.

Blaster1, here is my two cents on the issue.

I believe I started by asking why you are posting here. Everyone has different reasons, and I was curious why a scalper (which usually means you are glued to the screen and don't have time to post) would post here. You never answered that question. Are you trying to raise money, start a service, hoping to improve your trading, etc?

Then you were asked by someone to show some sort of screen shot to show that you actually got one of your good fills, but this went unanswered.

Finally you are most likely the only one who thinks getting defensive over a logical question as to how you are still in a trade after your stop was hit is a rational response.

The sheep here will get upset if you stop posting, and I in no way want to discourage anyone from posting. My original issue was that it seemed a waste of space to post every trade with a 1 point target. You seemed to have improved on it and are posting better trades with more reasonable targets, so I have no problem with you. I don't care if you are paper trading, trying to get followers for a system you want to sell, or just post for the fun of it, but you are quickly losing respect by not at least trying to answer what appear to be reasonable questions.

TOM, cheers, although it wasn't what I would call an easy trading session, on last trade I also pulled a trigger upon -.50 in red, but as I have told you before as long as signal is valid & it was indeed valid on 3m chart, just kept getting more & more 'bloated', then it popped, nice one!

@Blaster1, don't worry, be :) Personally I know only too well that it is very easy to not pull a trigger on a pre-defined stop at touch point, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. It was a very good trade on your behalf.

Someone who is working hard at posting his trades should be respected.

The teasing should stop.

It is difficult to make money from the market.

At the end of the day if we can make money and learn something while we are doing it it is a good thing.:)

Welcome to your first post for this specific issue hmmm.

Some of us who raised the question were not teasing. An honest question was asked and avoided.
