Just getting in position as you say. I'm probably wrong.
I gave it a wide berth due to yesterday's sharp sell off.

The trend intraday has little to nothing to do with the daily trend. Even in an uptrend, intraday movement is essentially zero. In a strong trend, most of the price movement comes from overnight, not intraday, moves.

What you are doing is not intraday trading, but rather swing trading/holding overnight. Not that there is anything wrong with that. :)
 
When I was asking I was curious mainly if yesterday strong reversal that probably caught many with pants down has something to do with it.

I am sorry I do not understand word berth in this context. Do you mean that the trade needs time and room to develop from this starting point?
 
Bearish gartley sell zone on NQ at 2011.75-2012... idk if it'll be the last good entry before we fall for the rest of the day (very possible we go higher), but it should at least be good for a few points.

.... or not... lost 3 ticks on that one.

R from here at 2016-2018 and lastly 2023.50-2024.50

Yes, I thought that there was a chance for a lot of back and fill with short covering and top picking etc before the market might catch a direction.

A decent stop now in NQ would most likely be 2002
 
Short NQ 2017.25 stop 2019.... small stop, small probability, looking to hold for big reward.

stopped... batting 0-2 trying to catch this. Last shot at 2023.50.

Nice try Tommy. I like your tenacity. I'm looking to short in the 1418 - 1420 zone with a stop just above yesterday's highs.

TY, looks like we both think this is a temporary bounce. Your ES zone is similar to my NQ zone, FWIW I'd watch out for resistance at 1416-1417 on ES.
