What is the point of posting every 1 tick or 1 point scalp? Do you think it helps your scalping to post them? Other than filling the journal with a huge number of pages, I don't see the point. Am I alone in wondering about this?

No. You are not alone.

If this becomes a scalper's journal, I see no point of stopping by.

as a fellow scalper, i find it interesting to see where other's entries and exits are. it's easy enough to place the "scalpers" on ignore, if you don't want to read their posts.

personally, i'd never be able to scalp and post simultaneously (my head might explode)...

I'm assuming your complaint was directed towards me.
FYI that 1 tick scalp I posted was my trailing stop on a trade that initially went as expected but suddenly reversed. My intention is not to clutter this thread so I'm officially changing my status to a lurker. Have a nice day!

Well it doesn't have to be all-or-none. Its just that not many people want to read multiple trades that have targets of <2 points. I'm sure nobody would be opposed to you posting larger target trades. Some commentary to go along with trades every once in a while is also appreciated.

As a lurker and index trader that scalps as well as making 15 minute to 2 hour trades, I follow the thread when the talk is centered around support and resistance, pivot points, etc. I don't really care about chest pounding I-made-this-much-in-this-trade posts that provide no info of interest. I agree that the scalpers and chest pounders should start their own thread.
