cool, never tried using the low.

..there is a significant edge in these MA's if you know how to use them. Eventually the price noise will arb it out, as the algo's get more chaotic.

Lance Armstong's book was titled "Its not about the bike". MA's don't backtest, so how do you make money off them Spectre?:p

:)

backtest those parameters but if you plan on using tradestation to do it, you will find that the MA's aren't quite the samething as on DTN.

also the MA's can be just traded robotically during certain hours of the session, or using the VIX as a correlate or filter. Also if you use th MA's as a median of price and use intrasession support and resistance as outliers for exits it works.

:) todays video is almost done rendering.

That is my point, its not about blindly following the moving averages but using them to maximize a good entry. IMHO if you have a bad entry the sooner you exit the better. Problem is when you enter a trade you don't know what the variance is going to be. What is your outlook on yen?

heres the golden goose formula....

MA's + Volatility + News Event + High Volume = Golden Egg/Price Slippage

now how many people have the discipline to trade with only the above filters. Maybe these days are only 10-15% of all trading days.
