charley,they have to run this up to 1400 before and if they take it back down,so you may be right but don't go broke being early

The spread of ES options is smaller than that of the SPX options, but neither is what I would consider a day-trading vehicle.

If ES is too large, there are always SPYders, but the tax treatment would be complicated if you're not considered a trader by the IRS (the wash sale rules would apply for SPY).
