for those of you whom have not seen a kiss of death move.....that was it pre market on that move to 33.75 with a TL kiss from underneath........way too much vol for me to post in a timely fashion but this is going to be an interesting finish to the week.

High this morning was 1336, low was 1279.75. That is a 4%+ drop in about an hour. This afternoon will get really interesting. I made good money this morning on the move so I will go play with the kids for the afternoon and stay out of the way of this market (until Monday morning that is).

only another 6%...

from a poker hand strategy, they have to rally this mrkt or overseas mkts will puke sunday night and we will be below 1250 in night session, avalanche would start down to 1150, don't think the dollar aftermath would be sustainable for world mrkts, maybe ben cuts rate today in 1 pm speech, what are some other things he could do to prop this thing up

I just examined a 5-tick chart a bit and noticed these two moves that lasted about 5 seconds altogether:

started 10:06:23 from the low of 1289.75, ended 10:06:27 at the high of 1310.50 and then about 1,5 secs later, we touched 1292.50.

So that was.. 20.75 points up in 4 seconds and then 18 points down in about 1-2 seconds.

Is that for real or have my ninjatrader charts gone mad? Double checked this with IB tick charts as well.. same price action. If it's real, then.. talk about a killer move...

avarus, thanks a lot for the info

Can you possibly post an illustrative chart later in the day or during the weekend when you've a spare moment? Thanks.

Was done at 10:55. I'd sit on the sidelines, the juicy moves are done imo. Possible death spiral in the afteroon (but then there's the PPT which is most likely is keeping an eye out), if not we should bounce within yesterday's range.
