I feel like forrest gump today. cause I just sat here and did nothin'.

I guess that was a bearish wedge today.

I gotta go get fitted for a new, bigger, better dunce cap.
Vertigo, not that I'm a TA freak or anything, but that looks more like a flag than a wedge. A bearish wedge, by definition, should point upward (in an uptrend). :)

blackguard's rule of 12 anyone?
what is that exactly?

after trying to buy the last 11 dips and suffering catastrophic losses, you finnally catch the 12th one for a 2 pt profit?

saliva,
You made me wonder so I did some internet research and found . (only because I have always considered the narrowing ascending formation outlined in my chart as a bearish wedge as, well... bearish.

Technically it is a bearish wedge, no matter where it forms relative to recent price action. could form after a sustained lift, can also form as kind of continuation pattern in a downtrend

this url has examples, the bearish wedge examples start after the bull wedge examples

I think your observation that it is a bear flag is legitimate, too.

I pay attention to them. They don't always work-out.

but saliva, I have a question, If you do not employ TA, how do you decide when to buy and when to sell?

best of trading to all.

LOL, mbusch :p

TV reporting high end call girls at the ring were going for $5500/hour. That's the kind of a bill that is more easily paid with someone else's money. (maybe that could be one of the angles in the potential case).

OK, I am through with the off topic.

Thanks for the pointer. I guess there's no end to learning. BTW I do use TA. I'm just not a big fan of patterns. I, on the other hand, follow the rhythm of the market like the flow of water between your fingers. Hope that answers your question. :D
